Sports betting startup Betsperts has secured $6 million in investment after a Series A funding round led by HBSE Ventures and Verance Capital.

Since its inception in 2019, Betsperts has continued to move forward to become a key player in the expanding sports betting scene. The startup has entered the fantasy football industry by acquiring Fantasy Life, Matthew Berry’s fantasy sports app, and 4for4.com, a content, information, and ranking tool for fantasy football.

This Series A funding will help Betsperts Chicago become the world’s sports betting hub for content, social media, advice and user analytics.

“This funding gives us a significant opportunity to invest heavily in expanding our user base by investing in marketing technology. It still helps us see opportunities to acquire strategies.”

Betsperts boasts one of the largest sports betting audiences in the country, and with billing enabled to legalize betting in many more states. It seems endless. In addition, the group is expected to reach its milestone when the 2021 NFL season begins, which is more than one million lifetime downloads. Rooney believes the company’s opportunities are “enormous”.
