Vasilina Shishova and Nikita Novikovsky from the Vasyslot Twitch channel talk about their follower-based business model, their relationship with subscribers, and how to carve out a place in this highly competitive ecosystem C read the full interview below.

Vasilina and Nikita, how did you first get into the partner space? Have you always been focused on gaming?

Nikita: I started as a sales manager, then as a blog manager and as an affiliate brand manager. He has been in the field of gaming since 2017, in gambling since 2019. Since childhood, I have loved computer games and sports; I find gambling very interesting.

Vasilina: Nikita tried to push me to stream, since before that I streamed online games. This time, it was suggested to try streaming a 바카라 and it became my passion. To be honest, I didn’t really understand monetization in affiliate marketing, but Nikita got me up to speed very quickly, and I liked it.

Based on your experience, which is the most ideal: to stream for a few hours a day, like 2/3 of an hour, or for a very long time, like 8 hours+? What do your followers prefer?

We build relationships with subscribers so that any format suits them. We share with them our feelings and events before and after the streams. Therefore, even if the stream lasts only one hour, they are happy to be with us, for which we are very grateful to them. On average, the stream lasts 3 hours, which, in our opinion, is the optimal time at the moment. We came to this organically, because it is not a lot and not a little.

Now you are focused on streams in Ukrainian and Russian. Do you plan to focus on other GEOs?

Now we are streaming in Russian. The audience of our channel is divided approximately 50/50 by GEO, Ukraine and Russia. We plan to expand to other GEOs and for this we have created the Vasilinaplay channel, where we have a couple of streams and about 100 subscribers. These were test broadcasts in English; There are plans for their development.

What are the best GEOs for streamers? Which region do you think is the most promising for Twitch?

We started with our native GEO. In the future, we will rely on the most popular GEOs that understand English and are of interest to 바카라 operators.

Do you think streaming is ruining traditional SEO? If so, how?

No, we don’t think so. In our opinion, these are completely different sources. Perhaps streams take away part of the audience from SEO traffic, but this is a very small part to talk about the threat of SEO.

What is the most important streaming hardware and software right now?

Streaming requires a powerful computer and preferably 3 monitors, as you want maximum comfort. There are various software solutions; To begin with, we chose OBS, which is the best solution for us at the moment. We know that there are other solutions on the market, and maybe we will test some of them and choose the most suitable one for us.

This model is truly unique. Until recently, there was a lot of M&A activity, with smaller affiliates with well-ranked sites being bought out by larger fish. Nowadays, however, it seems that it’s much easier to collect traffic and perform well on Twitch than it is to try to build an SEO site that ranks well. Based on my experience and with all these amazing streamers, how true is the above observation? Do you think we’ll see a slowdown in buying affiliate websites?

For a brand, these are different sources of traffic. You can’t abandon either of them, you need to test both. SEO requires more monetary investment in the beginning. But again, it depends on what goals and which path to choose. I also do SEO, and I can say that the mechanics are fundamentally different. The approaches are completely different, different types of traffic, user behavior, and growth strategies. Someone is more suitable for the development of sites, someone launches streams and finds their keys that help them grow. For my part, I don’t see any competition between the two sources. What I can emphasize is that SEO is at greater risk. For example, local licenses, rules that may restrict certain GEOs, and a pool of partners. In streams, I think, there are fewer risks in this case.

Have you ever been to a SiGMA event?

I, Nikita, attended SiGMA Malta in 2019. We went to Amsterdam together for iGathering, for Vasylyna this is a new experience. We went to SiGMA Malta 2021 and this was Vasilina’s first visit to SiGMA.

Tell us a little about yourself C after all, business is done with people, not just with companies! Your hobbies, favorite book, favorite quote, whether you are into gaming yourself, etc.

Nikita: I love sports. I play hockey, American football. I also really like snowboarding, I am addicted to it. I play the guitar and try to play the drums. Moreover, I constantly watch streams on the Vasyslot Twitch channel.

Vasilina: In addition to streaming, I work as a model, personal and fashion stylist. One of my main hobbies is Latin American dance. Also, when time allows, I play computer games and embroider with a cross. Favorite quote: Always go for your goal and never look back.
