With Esports streaming expected to lead the global game, a live Esports Tournament was present between the three stages of the conference, for the entertainment of our delegates and exploration of the ever-evolving space

With 9,000 delegates from around the world under one roof, SiGMA Dubai was a huge success story. One of the main highlights of the event was undoubtedly the Esports Tournament. With Esports being one of the fastest-growing verticals in the industry right now, SiGMA is paying attention and aims to help alleviate the esports sector on a global scale. In addition to the Esports Tournament, SiGMA has also held several workshops and conference discussions on this explosive industry on heated topics for debate.

Held at the Intercontinental Festival Arena, Dubai Festival City, SiGMA Dubai teamed up with the Maltese Esports Organization GMR and Esports Technologies, a platform and software provider, to host 3 days of exciting back-to-back tournaments. Several high-profile international players were present leaving a mark on an event that went down in history. Developed by Esports Technologies and co-sponsored by GMR and Revoland Game, the tournament offered a shared prize pool of $10,000, which was up for grabs and was distributed to the winners of the tournament. The first victory was Levadia eLions winning with 16 Points against Talento Importado roping in 9 Points. Securing a second win on March 21 was also Levadia eLions who won with 16 points against Infinite who managed 9 points. For the third win, we saw One Tap Gaming win with 16 points against Infinite who only managed to reach 3 points. Fourth winner, One Tap Gaming won with 16 points against Talentos Importados, not far the team managed to secure 14 Points. For the fifth win, we saw the Imported Talent winning with 16 Points against the Infinite Roping in 8 Points. One Tap Gaming, Infinite, Levadia eLions, and Imported Talent were the three stellar teams that made it to the semifinals. With a win against Infinate, One tap Gaming secured their place in the final. Later, Levadia eLions made it to the finals with a win against Imported Talent and joined One tap Gaming in the last round. The top-tier tournament came to an end with One Tap Gaming beating Levadia eLions in the grand final. Having won the previous international CS:GO One Tap Gaming tournament, a community of professional players with a gaming venue in Satu Mare was supposed to take home the trophy after no team managed to defeat them during the game rounds. Strengthening in the Esports scene in Romania, the win saw One Tap Gaming take home the trophy and establish them as one of the top teams going forward.
