Having previously worked as a geologist on oil rigs, Jillian moved to Malta from her native Scotland over ten years ago to defrost and pursue her childhood dream of becoming a professional writer. She began her career in iGaming as an awe-struck copywriter in 2015, quickly progressing to content management before joining SiGMA as a senior news writer in 2025.
