Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s first 바카라 resort, is expected to create over 7,500 jobs as it progresses toward completion in early 2027.

The $3.9 billion (€3.65 billion) integrated resort, in Ras Al Khaimah, will be the first beachside property in Wynn Resorts’ global portfolio. Once completed, it will also be the tallest building the company has ever developed.

Michael Weaver, chief communications officer at Wynn Resorts, said the resort currently employs about 80 people. This number is expected to rise to 300 by the end of 2025. Primary recruitment is scheduled to take place in September 2026, roughly six months before the facility opens in March 2027.

Hirings open in all divisions

“We will be hiring across all areas—from room attendants and bartenders to finance, marketing, and IT,” Weaver told local media at the Arabian Travel Market 2025. “It’s like a small city, and we want to ensure all departments are staffed and trained before we open.”

As of now, construction has reached 45 floors out of the planned 70, with approximately 10,000 workers on site daily. The resort is being built in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding. Wynn Al Marjan will feature 1,500 hotel rooms, 22 restaurants, a spa, a marina, and several entertainment spaces, including a custom-designed show.

The hotel has successfully obtained a gaming licence from the UAE’s General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA)—the first of its kind in the nation. Weaver emphasised that while gaming is a significant attraction, it constitutes only one aspect of the comprehensive experience.

High player turnout expected

“Guests will come not only for gaming, but also for dining, beach clubs, nightlife, and entertainment,” he stated. Room and package sales are scheduled to start approximately three to six months before the opening.

He stated that the resort is expected to attract a considerable number of UAE residents and international tourists, particularly from India, Russia, Europe, and Central Asia. “People coming from abroad usually stay for about a week, which is much longer than the average stay in Las Vegas,” he explained.

Weaver also highlighted the company’s strong focus on responsible gaming. All Wynn employees undergo annual training to identify and assist guests who may show signs of unhealthy gambling behaviour.

The UAE’s business-friendly environment and strong regulatory framework were key reasons Wynn Resorts chose Ras Al Khaimah. “The region is well-positioned, with much of the world’s population within an eight-hour flight. It’s an incredible location for a destination resort,” Weaver said. Wynn Al Marjan is expected to play a key role in shaping the UAE’s emerging regulated gaming and tourism industry.
