In January this year, iGaming content provider from SoftConstruct’s tech companies’ ecosystem PopOK Gaming announced an addition to its portfolio – land-based slot machines. The 바카라 slot machines made their debut at the ICE 2025 exhibition in Barcelona and on May 14 the provider was named the winner in the ‘Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product’ category at the SBC Awards Americas 2025. Starting May 21, YoSlots machines are available for pre-order in some regions. Vigen Badalian, co-founder of SoftConstruct, BetConstruct, Fastex, and Akneye brands, announced the news on his Instagram page.
This launch marks an exciting chapter in the company’s roadmap, taking the experience of gaming from the screen to the gambling hall.
Land-based slot machines are a bold statement of innovation from SoftConstruct, licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and Malta’s MGA. According to PopOk’s website, the slot machines are designed with cutting-edge technology and seamlessly blend into the 바카라 environment while ensuring operational accuracy.
The initial line-up of games includes more than 20 titles for players of all preferences, with the provider promising new game releases every month.
PopOK Gaming’s machines are designed with a balanced mix of advanced technology and player-centric features, including the industry’s first mixed-game solution. This innovation combines multiple gaming formats into one package, delivering unprecedented excitement and player engagement.
As reported on SiGMA News, in January 2025, the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) opened a consultation on sweeping changes to the regulation of slot machines. The proposal combines twelve disparate technical standards into a single system to modernise outdated regulations and bring land-based machines in line with online standards.
The main changes will affect Category B machines installed in adult gaming centres, pubs, and bingo halls. All machines, regardless of age or software compatibility, will be required to support player protection features such as game speed controls, session timers, and ongoing safe gambling messages.
The consultation, originally scheduled to run until May 20, has been extended to June 3.
