Step inside the transformative world of Roberto Gallo, Founder and CEO of Centurion FC, whose inspiring vision and social commitment were featured in the newly released SiGMA Magazine -unveiled at the BiS SiGMA Americas summit in S?o Paulo this April 2025. The piece explores Gallos visionary leadership and the transformative partnership between Centurion FC and the SiGMA Foundation, a collaboration that is redefining the intersection of sport, education, and social responsibility in Brazils most challenged communities.

At the heart of this initiative is the newly inaugurated youth centre, Faculdade da Luta, situated in Helipolis, S?o Paulos largest favela. Developed jointly by the SiGMA Foundation and Centurion FC, the centre stands as a beacon of hope for at-risk youth, offering much more than world-class MMA and combat sports training. Children and young people now have access to English language instruction, sports marketing, financial education, and womens self-defence classes, all delivered in a safe, inclusive environment designed to foster discipline, respect, and lifelong ambition.

Gallos commitment to social impact is deeply rooted in his personal journey and Centurion FCs ethos. Its not just about training young athletes; its about equipping them with tools for life, Gallo shares in the feature. The centres holistic approach aims to break cycles of poverty and exclusion by empowering youth with practical skills and mentorship, preparing them for success both inside and outside the ring.

The launch of Faculdade da Luta was marked by the presence of key figures, including SiGMA Group founder Eman Pulis and Maltas Ambassador to Brazil, underscoring the global significance of the project. The centres doors are open to all, with plans to extend its reach through partnerships with local institutions and rehabilitation programmes for vulnerable youth.

The collaborations impact was further amplified during the BiS SiGMA Americas summit, where Centurion FCs celebrated fight night drew attention not only for its sporting excellence but for its social mission: entry was granted through donations supporting local children, reinforcing the events community-first ethos.
