New Yorks gaming industry continued to break records in November, with mobile sports betting achieving its highest-ever monthly gross gaming revenue (GGR) since the markets launch in January 2022 as per .

New York’s mobile sports betting total GGR reached $231.6 million in November. This marked a 53.5 percent year-on-year growth and eclipsed the previous record of $211.5 million set in January 2024. The timing coincided with the NFLs Thanksgiving Day games, which are known to drive high betting activity.

The states betting handle total wagers placed was equally impressive at $2.27 billion, the second highest ever recorded. While slightly lower than Octobers all-time high of $2.32 billion, it was 7.4 percent higher than November 2023.

FanDuel dominated the market, leading both in handle, with $921.2 million, and GGR, which stood at $102.6 million. This placed it ahead of other major operators, reaffirming its position as the states favourite betting platform.

Strong performance in commercial 바카라s

New Yorks four commercial 바카라s reported a total GGR of $56.9 million. This figure represented a 5.1 percent year-on-year increase. Rivers Casino and Resort led the pack, generating $17.8 million in revenue. As expected, slot machines and electronic gaming terminals were the main revenue drivers, contributing $40.3 million. Table games added $15 million, while poker tables generated $954,211.

Sports wagering within commercial 바카라s, however, remained a smaller segment, with GGR totalling $639,773 for the month.

Revenue and tax contributions

In terms of net revenue, operators collectively earned $43.1 million during November. The states gaming tax from this revenue reached $13.7 million, providing a significant boost to New Yorks coffers.

New York wasnt the only region to report impressive gaming figures in November. Macau, one of the worlds largest gambling hubs, recorded a 14.9 percent year-on-year increase in GGR, according to its Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).
