Indian gaming company Nazara Technologies has acquired 100 percent ownership of UK-based game publisher Curve Digital Entertainment Ltd, popularly known as Curve Games, for ₹247 crore ($28.87 million). The deal, announced on 20 May, marks a significant step for Nazara in its expansion into the global PC and console gaming space.

It brings to Nazara a library of successful IPs and established operations across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.
Curve Games posted strong financial results in the calendar year 2024, with revenue of ₹263.5 crore ($30.80 million), earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of ₹114.4 crore ($13.37 million), and Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹49.6 crore ($5.80 million).

Nazara Technologies has steadily expanded its global presence through a series of acquisitions. The addition of Curve Games is expected to accelerate this momentum, giving Nazara enhanced capabilities in global publishing, IP creation, and cross-platform game development.
On 7 May 2025, Nazara Technologies informed the Indian stock exchange about the approval of its resolution plan to acquire Smaaash Entertainment Private Limited. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai, approved the plan as part of Smaaash’s ongoing Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
Nazara stated that the approval is subject to a modification in the provisos to the term “effective date” as mentioned in the plan.
