Kangwon Land, the only 바카라 in South Korea accessible to local residents, has reportedly launched a small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) support programme that aims to support domestic suppliers to develop 바카라 technology, including slot machines.

Move to strengthen domestic 바카라 technology

The programme, titled the “2025 Integrated Mutual Growth Project,” aims to strengthen domestic 바카라 technology development by partnering with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country. The company will do so while reducing its own research and development (R&D) costs. The programme is already underway and structured in phases—starting with R&D funding, followed by product prototyping, market testing, and finally scale-up for production. Each SME partner is assigned a support team to guide them from concept to commercial success.

Park Young-shin, head of ’s shared growth division, said, “This project is a step toward entering the global 바카라 market by creating shared value with excellent domestic small and medium-sized enterprises, creating a substitute effect for imported products and accumulating domestic technology.

“We will do our best to make it an exemplary case of public-private cooperation and overseas joint advancement by diversifying domestic 바카라 devices including slot machines.”

Betting limits raised

In corporate news, Kangwon Land recently received green light from the government to increase betting limits for its mass gaming table and VIP baccarat play. In a move that signals a major shift in its gaming strategy, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has officially approved changes aimed at ramping up revenue and diversify table offerings. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism formally accepted Kangwon Land’s proposal to  on 20 May 2025. Just a week prior to receiving approval to triple betting limits on Blackjack, Kangwon Land secured similar regulatory approval to raise betting limits on its VIP baccarat tables.

As part of the changes, maximum bets for two Blackjack and two Texas Hold’em Poker tables have been increased from KRW100,000 ($72.83) to KRW300,000. This change took effect from 21 May, while the revised poker limits are scheduled for implementation in early June. On the other hand, the minimum wager for tables has been increased from KRW50,000 to KRW500,000, a tenfold rise.

Additionally, the allowable difference between ‘banker’ and ‘player’ bets, known as the table differential, has been raised from KRW2 million to KRW30 million. The decision follows an approved revision of the 바카라’s membership floor operating regulations by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. This comes as the property looks to optimise its gaming floor mix, diversify table offerings to better cater to higher-stakes customers.
