Philippine 바카라 developer and operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp has appointed Greg Hawkins as its acting chief operating officer (COO), the company announced in . Hawkins previously served as acting COO of Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc, the group’s 바카라 operating unit.
Bloomberry Resorts is behind the development and management of Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila and Solaire Resort North in Quezon City. The appointment follows the December retirement of Tom Arasi, who was president and COO of the parent company.

Hawkins brings significant expertise in hospitality and gaming across multiple markets, including the Philippines, Macau, Australia, and New Zealand, the statement noted. Before joining Bloomberry, he was chief 바카라 officer for The Star Entertainment Group Ltd, an Australian 바카라 operator.

His new role as acting COO of Bloomberry Resorts Corp marks an expansion of responsibilities beyond its operating unit, overseeing the broader strategic and operational framework of the company.

Recent regulatory developments

Last week, it was reported that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) had reached a settlement with Hawkins regarding matters from his tenure at The Star Entertainment Group. While details of the settlement were not disclosed, it did not impact his recent appointment at Bloomberry Resorts.

Major refinancing deal secured

Hawkins steps into his new role as Bloomberry Resorts Corp executes a PHP40.00 billion (US$691.1 million) syndicated refinancing facility through two of its subsidiaries. The 10-year financing deal, announced earlier this month, is expected to support the group’s ongoing operations and expansion plans in the Philippines’ growing gaming market.

Plans to revive third Solaire Resort in Philippines

Recently Bloomberry Resorts Corp. announced plans to open its third Solaire-branded integrated resort, Solaire Puerto Azul, in Cavite, south of Metro Manila. The company revealed on Wednesday that while a specific timeline for the project’s completion has not been finalised, it aims to launch the new resort within the next five to ten years.

This upcoming resort will mark Bloomberry’s third major project under the Solaire brand, following the successful launches of Solaire Resort Entertainment City in 2013 and Solaire Resort North, which opened in March this year.
