Culinary and Bartenders Union in Las Vegas sets industrial action deadline
The Culinary and Bartenders Unions have announced a critical development, setting a strike deadline for 2 February 2024, for over 20 integrated 바카라 resorts located on the iconic Las Vegas Strip and in Downtown Las Vegas.
The unions are actively seeking new contracts with these resort-바카라s, and if an agreement is not reached by 5 pm on the specified date, approximately 7,700 workers are prepared to initiate a strike.
Ongoing negotiations
The Culinary Workers Union Local 226 has emphasized that if negotiations break down before the deadline, workers might strike individual properties sooner than anticipated. The ongoing negotiations involve prominent properties, and union leadership is scheduled to meet with nine of them this week, followed by two additional local resort-바카라s next week.

Last year’s strike activity
In the event of a strike, several resort 바카라s would experience this for the first time. Last year, Culinary Local 226 authorized a citywide strike when they faced an impasse with six major resort-바카라s.(photo above). A procession of Culinary Union members paraded along Las Vegas Boulevard. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police estimated at that time that 3,500 workers took to the streets to advocate new contracts.
Another potential walkout, scheduled just days before the Las Vegas Grand Prix, was averted through eleventh-hour deals with major Strip properties, including MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Resorts, resulting in historic five-year contracts.
