Sudhanshu Ranjan

Circa Sportsbook has officially launched its newest location at The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, Kentucky. Spanning an impressive 5,100 square feet, it is now the largest sportsbook in the state, and one of the most expansive facilities of its kind east of the Mississippi River.

Overview of the Circa sportsbook

Situated within The Mint Gaming Hall at Kentucky Downs, the sportsbook has been meticulously designed with a focus on technology and user experience. The layout, lighting, and equipment have all been optimised to enhance the efficiency and enjoyment of sports betting.

A standout feature is the 80-foot-wide LED screen, capable of broadcasting live sporting events. Complementing this is a 31-foot odds board, which displays real-time wagering information, allowing visitors to stay updated without needing their own devices.

The venue offers stadium-style seating for up to 113 guests, catering to both individuals and groups. Additional seating options include booth-style arrangements and recliners, ensuring comfort during extended visits.

Wagering options

To facilitate betting, the facility includes five staffed betting stations for assistance and enquiries. There are also four self-service kiosks, including ADA-compliant options to ensure accessibility for all visitors.

A notable addition is the VSiN (Vegas Stats & Information Network) studio, which produces live sports content directly from Franklin, Kentucky. The studio broadcasts sports analysis and interviews with on-air talent to a nationwide audience.

Circa Sports expansion

, Circa Sports’ mobile app is now available in five states: Nevada, Iowa, Illinois, Colorado, and Kentucky. This expansion reflects the brand’s continued success in the U.S. sports betting industry.

The venue is currently in a soft-launch phase, offering early access to visitors. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 20 August 2025, followed by a public opening event on 23 August 2025.

Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Sports, expressed enthusiasm about the new venue. He stated, “We’re proud to officially open the doors to this new sports betting experience for fans across the region. Whether you’re placing a bet or simply watching the action unfold, this book is built to be a premier gameday spot for Kentucky, Nashville, and beyond.”

NFL Contest Portfolio

The Circa Survivor contest prize pool has grown from $10 million in 2024 to $15 million in 2025. Additionally, a new high-stakes competition, Circa Grandissimo, has been introduced. With a $100,000 entry fee, a two-entry limit, and a guaranteed $1.5 million prize, it is tailored for seasoned bettors seeking elite-level competition.

Johan Mirkovic, Vice President of The Mint Gaming Hall, described the venue as a haven for sports enthusiasts. Mirkovic expressed, “Where passion meets precision — experience every moment on the massive 80-foot screen, indulge in premium comfort, and stay ahead with real-time updates. Here, the thrill of the game and the excitement of the bet come together in a state-of-the-art haven, inspiring champions both on and off the field.”

Industry impact

Circa Sports has applied for one of two untethered sports betting licences in Missouri, which do not require affiliation with a 바카라 or sports team. This moves places Circa in direct competition with major operators such as FanDuel and DraftKings.

To improve its sportsbook options, Circa Sports has added features including live broadcast studios and massive LED monitors. Both high-stakes players and casual bettors can be accommodated at the facility.

The venue is expected to contribute to local economic activity, tourism, and job creation. Its location near the Tennessee border positions it to attract visitors from Nashville and the surrounding areas.
