Betsson has obtained a license to launch its online 바카라 operations in Serbia. The company, listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, will introduce its Rizk online 바카라 brand to tap into new markets and drive growth. Serbia falls within Betsson’s Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (CEECA) segment, which has been a strategic focus for the company in recent years.
During Q2 2023, CEECA represented a significant portion of Betsson’s revenue, accounting for 43 percent of the total. This region demonstrated robust growth, with revenue surging by 68 percent to reach €102.6 million.
Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Betsson AB, (pictured above), expressed pride in welcoming Serbia as a new locally regulated market for the company. He emphasized their commitment to providing the best possible customer experience and highlighted that the Rizk brand is well-prepared to deliver a top-tier online 바카라 offering in Serbia.
Serbia has allowed gambling activities since 2006, with online gambling becoming legal in 2011 and a comprehensive regulatory framework established in 2013. The Serbian Games of Chance Administration regulates the market, imposing a 10 percent GGR tax on online 바카라 games and slots. Notably, the cost of obtaining an online 바카라 license in Serbia is a modest €2,500 per month.
As of the latest trading data, Betsson AB (publ) (BETS-B.ST) is trading at SEK127.80, reflecting a change of 2.47 percent.
