Aristocrat Interactive has entered into a six-year agreement with the Michigan Lottery to provide a comprehensive range of iLottery products and services. Starting in July 2026, the deal also includes options for six additional one-year extensions. The agreement builds on a longstanding partnership that began in 2014, with Aristocrat’s NeoGames platform powering Michigan’s initial iLottery launch.

Longstanding partnership enters new phase

The Michigan Lottery was one of the first state-run lotteries in the United States to introduce eInstant games to its portfolio. Since 2014, it has worked with NeoGames, now part of , to develop and deliver its online lottery platform. The new agreement marks a continued investment in digital lottery services and innovation.

Under the latest deal, Aristocrat Interactive will deliver a full suite of iLottery solutions including:

  • eInstant games
  • Draw-based games
  • Add-on features to boost player engagement

These products will be developed by NeoGames Studio, the in-house content arm of Aristocrat Interactive.

Technology and Tools for Growth

The Michigan Lottery will continue using Aristocrat Interactive’s iLottery technology, which includes key operational tools:

  • A player account management system
  • A draw-based game engine
  • A business intelligence solution
  • A customer and data engagement platform

These tools will support the lottery’s efforts to expand its player base and optimise revenue. The use of business intelligence and data engagement is expected to enhance player experience while improving operational efficiency.

Michigan: leader in iLottery

Michigan remains a top performer in the U.S. iLottery sector, ranking high in both total iLottery sales and sales per capita. Its focus on innovation and digital expansion has kept it ahead of other state lotteries.

The latest agreement reflects the state’s continued drive to support public education through lottery-generated funds. In Michigan, proceeds from lottery operations go directly to the School Aid Fund.

Voices from deal

Suzanna Shkreli, Commissioner of the Michigan Lottery, said, “This collaboration is a sign of our commitment to being a leader in the iLottery space and a win for players and public education in Michigan as we look to further enhance our offerings, deliver an entertaining iLottery experience, and drive incremental revenue to the School Aid Fund.”

Chris Shaban, Managing Director of Aristocrat Interactive iLottery, said, “The Michigan Lottery is a trailblazer in the U.S. iLottery industry, and we’re proud to be a strategic partner for their business. This multi-year agreement is a testament to the proven strength of the Aristocrat Interactive platform, our commitment to innovation, and the long-term value we provide to our customers.”

The agreement follows Aristocrat Interactive’s recent move to expand internationally. The company has signed a contract with Logifuture to enter the Mexican iLottery market, signalling its global ambitions in the digital lottery sector.
