Anjouan has rolled out a new Recognition Certificate Program for B2B gaming service providers, as part of efforts to strengthen regulatory compliance and streamline operations within its iGaming ecosystem.
Under the new rule, all B2B providers—such as platform operators, game developers, and payment processors—must now either hold a licence or obtain formal recognition from Anjouan in order to work with B2C operators licensed in the jurisdiction.
To simplify the process, companies already licensed in well-known regulatory markets like the Isle of Man, Malta, Romania, Sweden, and others with high standards can apply for recognition through a fast-track process, without the need to duplicate existing licensing steps.
Anjouan Gaming said, “This new framework helps ensure that only trustworthy, compliant, and properly regulated providers power the platforms and services behind Anjouan-licensed operations.”
According to Anjouan Gaming, the Recognition Certificate is expected to:
“With over 860 active gaming licences and thousands of compliant websites under our jurisdiction, we’re constantly enhancing our standards to meet the needs of a modern, global iGaming environment,” the regulator stated.
B2B providers with licences from trusted places can now apply for this certificate to work more easily with operators licensed in Anjouan. This simpler process also aims to improve trust in Anjouan’s rules and address concerns raised by others in the industry.
Anjouan’s latest initiative signals its ongoing commitment to responsible growth and a more transparent and effective regulatory environment in the online gaming sector.
