Oleksandr Shapovalov, Business Development Manager at SlotCatalog Ltd, joins us for our latest affiliate interview on the Affiliate Grand Slam.

Oleksandr Shapovalov discusses SlotCatalog’s main goals, benefits and SlotRank. Among other topics, he also talks about email marketing and responsible gaming – his story continues below.

How did you get into the affiliate space?

I got into the affiliate business in 2017. I was 21 years old and was looking for a field that might interest me. For starters, I wanted to spend more time working remotely to find the “business of my life.” It just so happened that remote work I found was what I was looking for. I got a job as a content manager at SlotCatalog and I’m still working here. I’m a Business Development Manager now.

How did SlotCatalog start?

The SlotCatalog project started as a small startup that determined the most popular slots based on open-source data. We’re still working on this, and we’re improving the algorithm that determines the popularity of slots on a larger scale. Over time, we set out to develop other areas, creating the largest database of slots on the internet, working on expanding the 바카라 database, which we are still doing today.

What are the goals of SlotCatalog?

How important is audience segmentation in email marketing? How do you attach importance to it?

If you want to increase conversions for your email campaigns, email marketing segmentation is essential. In our email campaigns, we segment our subscribers by country and send them accurate information about where to play the latest slots.

In your opinion, which is the best email marketing campaign you’ve created?

This was probably our first newsletter, and it’s still very active, constantly bringing in new subscribers. Every week, we’ll email you the latest slot releases and where to play them.

What sets us apart from other affiliates? And what makes it unique?

I think it’s a data-driven approach to providing accurate information to players and ranking them. And of course, the largest slots database!

What importance do you attach to responsible gaming?

We educate our players and encourage them to do their own research before choosing a 바카라. It also adheres to the regulations of countries where gambling is legal, such as the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Spain. In addition, GEO, where gambling is regulated by law, only promotes locally licensed brands.

What markets are you focusing on? Do you see any potential in emerging markets?

Currently, we are mainly focused on the UK and German markets. We believe that there is great potential in Latin America and Asia, and we are already moving in these directions.

How important is social media activity to your affiliate business? How difficult is it to keep Google up and running?

We are not very active on social media and mainly focus on SEO. When it comes to Google’s updates, we’re brave enough to take on the fight, and most of the time we win with minimal damage to ourselves. In short, it’s not as scary as many people describe.

Which emerging technologies such as AI and big data will impact the affiliate industry in 2022 and beyond?

I don’t think these technologies will have a significant impact on the industry this year. Having worked in this industry for many years, I got the impression that fundamentally new technologies are introduced here very slowly. If we talk about the future, sooner or later AI and big data will become ubiquitous. Without them, the industry would be saturated with content, and it would simply be impossible to cope with it, because in order to satisfy players and provide them with exactly what they want, the help of technology is absolutely necessary.

How can you make your affiliate approach more unique?

Our industry has never been more competitive. It is very difficult to create something unique, but it is not impossible. First of all, let’s think about the players and think about what we are missing. If you find an opportunity to gather their feedback, I’m sure you’ll get some unique ideas.

What does it take for an affiliate business to be successful?

Create a website for non-Google players.

How do you choose an operator and how do you manage relationships with multiple operators?

While collecting as much information as possible to improve SlotRank and make it more accurate, we are adding almost all licensed 바카라s. Sometimes it’s difficult to manage the number of accounts, but we handle it pretty well.

SiGMA in 2022 Europe, Africa, Asia and America – which of these four expo shows do you plan to go to?

I’ve been to SiGMA Europe in 2019 and 2020 and it was amazing.

Unfortunately, we have been invaded by Russia this year, so we will not be able to participate in the expo. However, after winning the championship, I will definitely go to SiGMA Europe again.

Talk a little more about your personal life. All business will be done not only between companies, but also between people! Your hobbies, favorite books, favorite quotes, whether you’re interested in games, etc.

I like to cook. This is my passion and I like to cook fancy dinners for my friends. I also like video games, especially retro ones from NES and SNES. But unfortunately I rarely play.

Also, I like anime and manga and recommend everyone to watch and read “Berserk”.

I like to gamble from time to time, but rarely. I mostly play slots in crypto 바카라s.
